~ Watercress Egg Salad ~

Hey humans! Welcome back to another blog!
As my stay on Earth, I have learned about a recipe called Watercress Egg Salad. I though it was a salad but it was actually a sandwich! It was amazing! For the Kaupeka Hub, we had a shared lunch on a Friday, the day that we did Book Character Day. I shared the recipe that I found and it was from England. Feel free to try it out because I wrote a recipe that you can check out! \/ \/

English Sandwich - Watercress Egg Salad

The Watercress Egg Salad is an English Sandwich from England. The Sandwich includes eggs, mayonnaise and watercress.

Ingredients -
4 eggs, 4 tablespoons of butter (Soft or soft plain butter), 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise, salt, pepper and paprika for taste, 8 slices of bread, ½ cup of Watercress. Optional ingredient: Fresh Parsley.

1) Gather the ingredients that you will need.
2) Hard boil the 4 eggs (or more) at a time for 15 minutes.
3) When the eggs are finished boiling, peel the shells off and mash them with butter using a potato masher or a fork (or other things, if you have anything else to mash them with.)
4) Mix the mayonnaise, salt, pepper and paprika into the mixture, about 2 pinches. If you want, feel free to add sugar
5) Spread the mixture onto the slices of bread.
6) Add the watercress onto the bread with spread.
7) Add the parsley if using. (Not required, optional)
8) Cover the sandwich with a slice of bread when finished.
9) Done! Enjoy it!

Anyways, I hope you enjoy trying it out. BYE!!
