My goal for this week is "Use questions to challenge the text, question the author, establish the authenticity of the text and state opinions." For Reading this week, my goal was "Identify at least one important idea and justify why it is important. Identify some text events and features, and discuss what they make the reader think about." And the book I read this week was "Harry's War." Then I had to make a comic strip, take screenshots of some pictures and write what I thought about the pictures and the text. Anyways, since lockdown has gone back to level 3, have you bought any food from McDonald's, KFC? Or a different restaurant? Well I haven't, it would probably be REALLY busy since everyone is ordering food.

In this blog, it will be about Complex Sentences. My writing goal this week was "Use complex sentences that are grammatically correct / proofread for spelling, grammar and punctuation." My DLO this week for Writing was that we had to make a short story with 4 complex sentences. My story was about me speaking in Cursive and kind of about Corey The Bagel on Tik Tok. It was really the only thing I could think about since I'm less creative this term. I hope the story gives you a giggle or two! Anyways, B Y E ! ! !

Hey guys! Welcome back to another blog.

This blog will be about my Writing task. My goal for my writing workshop this week is "Revise and rework writing for clarity, impact and purpose. proofread for spelling, grammar and punctuation." Also, hows lockdown been for you? Mine routine is pretty much just wake up at 7:50 AM, shower, eat breakfast (or eat later) get my Chromebook and get ready for my calls on Tuesdays and Thursday and then after my calls, which will probably be at around 12 PM, I go to my laptop and just chill with my friends online and play games. Anyways, getting back on Writing. I will be showing you a google drawing of my Writing Task. You might have to zoom in to read it. My report was about Rhys Darby, I chose him because he is a very funny kiwi and an awesome guy! I first found out about him when I started watching a show called Voltron: Legendary Defender which has come to an end for about a year or two. (I lost count) I still love it but I've watched it over and over again. I definitely recommend it, it's on Netflix too! It might be boring at first but trust me, it's amazing! And another show he's been that I love is A Series of Unfortunate Events! I found out quite a while ago that he was on that show but I knew that the character he was playing as looked familiar! I honestly will miss Violet, Sunny and Klaus and maybe Count Olaf too, he was a funny guy. That's all for today, BYE!!

For Term 2 Week 2, my online maths workshop goal was "Use a broad range of strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems with whole numbers and decimals."
We were allowed to pick out of "Rounding and Compensating, Equal Adjustments, Reversibility and Place Value." I picked Reversibility because I kind of forgot how to do it until I watched the videos and also because I've never used Reversibility in Decimals. I made a poster on how to do Reversibility, both whole numbers and decimals.
