W r i t i n g - R e p o r t

Hey guys! Welcome back to another blog.

For writing on week 7 of term 1, I have been focusing on a report for a respected, worthy and admirable New Zealander and also sentence starters. For this term, I'm doing a report on Rhys Darby. I chose him because he does lots of charities and fundraisers, a funny and sweet person and also maybe because he's my favourite actor.

Anyways, I hope that you enjoyed this blog.

Hey guys! Welcome back to another blog!
In this blog, I will be talking about a book called: "Pandemic: The Deadly Flu"
It's about a deadly flu/virus just like the corona virus now, then I made connections and put a few on a slide and turned it into a stop motion. I'll be sharing it to you, I hope you enjoy reading my connections!

Pandemic: The Deadly Flu, Stop Motion

Anyways, I hope that you enjoyed the stop motion.
Question: Do you think that the deadly flu is JUST like the corona virus?

C o m m u n i c a t i o n

Hey guys! Welcome back to another blog.
In this blog, I will be talking about Communication in PBL.
I'll be answering questions about Communication.
We are having a school fair, 8th of March, Sunday!

1. Why is communication important for the future?
People communicated to others and made inventions that we use nowadays and it's important for the future because when we communicate, sometimes we invent useful things like how people invented technology and now we use technology to communicate. Communicating with others is also important so that they can collaborate and stuff.

2. What are the different ways we communicate messages?
We can communicate through apps, games, writing on a piece of paper or just talking to someone, face to face with them. A lot of kids nowadays communicate a lot through technology.

3. Do we communicate in different ways compared to 10 years ago?
I think that we communicate more different now than compared to 10 years ago because now, we communicate through technology, social media, games and more.

C r e a t i v i t y

Hey guys, welcome back to another blog!
In this blog, I will be telling you about Creativity in my blog.
I will be answering questions about Creativity.
On my last blog, I answered questions about Collaboration.

We also had two other tasks and we had to use our creative thinking for them. One of the tasks was that we had to think of 100 ways to use a paper clip. And the other, we had to turn 4 circles and 4 squares into real life objects.

5 ways to use a paper clip:
1. Accessories for your doll
2. A bookmark
3. Cord holders
4. Lock pick
5. Key chain

Self:
What kind of thinker am I?

I, myself, think that I am a creative thinker, I can also think of creative things quite quickly and sometimes, I get told that I'm really creative. I get creative by things that are around me and I can draw something that can resemble it or maybe turn it into something useful than it was before. Sometimes, when I'm stuck on what I should draw, I look around the things that are around me and then I draw that.

What creative thinking skills do I have and which could I work on and why?
I think pretty fast and get ideas pretty well. I can be really creative. I get REALLY creative when I'm tired, but when I'm not, I can't really think of what to do or draw or write. I'm a night person.

What aspects of creative thinking do I find find the hardest?
Sometimes I can't think of some things when I really need to. But when I just relax and look around, I find what I'm looking for. I sometimes find it hard to focus.

P B L C o l l a b o r a t i o n

Hey guys! Welcome back to another blog.

In this blog, it will be about PBL and Collaboration. For PBL this term, we are doing a School Fair, and we have been put in groups of 4 to create a game for the fair. Feel free to come this Sunday, 8th of March to our School Fair.

- Work highly effectively and interdependently, identifying and using each other's strengths and skills.
I think that I worked well by putting some ideas onto a document and then deciding which one we will be doing for our game. I also helped them paint and cut the boxes.

- Respectfully raise and explore different options and are able to move forward in the direction the team identifies.
I personally think that I worked well with my team by supporting their own ideas and opinions instead of just going with my own one and showing the work I have done and asking for their opinions if they like the design or asking if they like the colours.

- Take active responsibility for the way the group works together to create a quality product.
I helped my group quite a lot but I think I can still do a bit more. My group is a really good group so we are all working on our Fair project.

My goal is to improve these more so that we can make an awesome Fair project.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this blog. Byeeeee!!!!
